Hi I am a teacher and have had duck eggs incubating, took them out of turner Friday night, all seemed good, have had 3 ducklings hatch but am noticing some color changes on a couple of eggs, is this normal?

Ok, thanks new to this site and didn't know where to post. I will do that right now. Thanks again.

Do the color changing eggs have an odor to them or is any foul fluid weeping out of them? If so they are bad and you should carefully get them into a plastic bag and tie it shut - so they don't explode and contaminate your incubator.

It is true with any egg if it smells bad it is bad otherwise give it a couple of
more days then you can make it a part of your class depending on the age
of your children by opening it to see what went wrong .......
