I know that mallards and khaki Campbell's lay greenish tinted eggs. I heard that buffs lay white eggs, is this true? Will I be able to distinguish who laid what?

Buff ducks could lay any color eggs, some could be white, some could be greenish, some could be blueish. youll probably get mainly white eggs but they can lay other colored eggs.

No my mallards lay all kind of colored eggs, but that makes since because almost all breeds are derived from the ( muscoys and all exotic ducks are not from mallards)

My black mallard lays black eggs, dark blue eggs ,and green eggs

my normal mallards lay white eggs, green eggs ,and blue eggs

Have you ever had/ do you know anything about chocolate mallards? Would I be able to differentiate themselves from normal mallards as ducklings?

Yes im trying to get chocolate mallard from my flock, i bred my own black mallards into my flock, chocolate mallard eggs would probably the same as a normal mallard, yes a ducklings they would be easily picked out becuase they would be light brown
