Duck Egg Fertilized?

I have two Pekin ducks. The male (Launchpad) is special needs (crooked bill and walks with a limp) I’ve seen him “try” but never successfully “get the job done” Recently he has been aggressive towards me when I take the morning egg and the female (Webbigail) has been hiding them in her nest. So I thought huh could it be fertilized? I can’t really tell. Thoughts? I’m debating trying to hatch some after my batching of chickens are done in the brooder if anyone else thinks they are.

It's worth a try. Difficult to say whether or not he is getting the job done. Do they have water to swim in ? A pool facilitates breeding.

Yes they do. They have a kiddie pool and I ordered them a stock tank.
