duck egg incubation tips?

I'm planing on incubating some duck eggs and my friend's duck just laid some. my problem is she doesn't know how old they are, is there any way i can tell? maybe by candling them? I've never incubated DUCK eggs before, so any tips would be GREAT! thanks!

one you should get very freshly laid eggs two you candle them on day 7 and then 14 go google candleing thegg and the stages will show what it looks kie in those stages and you can find out if the egg is fertile and still growing lots of info on internet do your research you will learn alot and all the stages of what to doeven buy a book on hatching and incubation good luck hope this helps
