duck egg or chicken egg?

That's a beautiful picture of a duck egg, btw. When you go to crack an egg, the difference is huge. The shell on the duck egg is much harder and tends to break into a different shape and the egg inside will have a very large yolk and clear white. I'm afraid that, if I tried to crack a chicken egg after years of ducks, I'd smash it! hehe
 
yup it's a duck egg.....my khaki campbell girls have been laying those for about 2 weeks now. they are also about 23 weeks old. and let me tell you, they are delicious

Here's a photo of my first duck egg...it took me a bit to work it out as well. It's the one in the middle laid by my (missing) duck, Daisy. The egg on the left is from Henny Penny my ISA brown hen, the one in the middle is from Daisy the Mallard and one on the right is from Lulu my silkie.
