Hey Everyone! First time with duck eggs. I have a Pekin duck egg on day 21 did a candling the there's no movement. I just seen its little foot moving around in there not too long ago 😟 But when I candled today there was no movement and when I turned the egg the duck and the yolk followed and swayed back a little. Can't see veins anymore but it's pretty full and I don't see a blood ring. I know for chicken eggs this usually means it's died I guess I'm wondering/ hoping it's a little different for ducks? Thanks

Sure! I can bring it into the bathroom where it's dark enough. I was hoping maybe it's just to big at this point to see much. He's usually in there doing the backstroke so I was a little worried when I saw nothing this time

I hope these pics are OK. My phone takes wonderful portrait pics until I really need it to focus then this is what I get. I THINK I can see veins still in the first pic. The cloudy stuff in the 2nd one worries me but it's my 2nd year incubating and 1st time doing duck eggs so I thought I'd get a couple other opinions before I crack it open.

No. When I turn it it seems to move with the egg then move back a bit. Wondering it it came detached? I can see what I think is cloudy stuff and I THINK some veins but it's so full it's hard to tell

if in doubt, I'd leave it a couple more days and check again. As long as there is no bad smell from the egg.
It doesn't look or sound too promising at all, but leaving it a little longer to be safe won't hurt, since you think you can see some veins. (they could be breaking down, but it will be clearer in a couple days)
