I am on day 23 with my welsh harlequin duck eggs and the air cell doesn't look as big as it should be. My humidity has been in the 60s because I read duck egg incubate at higher humidity but now I'm thinking I've had it too high since I candled and the air cell doesn't look big enough. Will it make a difference if I lower the humidity until closer to hatch day or should I just leave it be? Will the ducks still hatch if the air cell is too small?

I'd lower that humidity right away and hopefully those air cells will grow a bit for you. Also, it sounds counter-intuitive, but if you lightly spray the eggs with water once a day that also helps draw moisture out of the eggs and will help the air cells grow. Good luck! :)

Did this help? I'm in the same boat! Tiny cells, on day 20.
