duck eggs: dead or alive

Alot of ducks eggs look alike some ducks do lay some colored eggs though did this egg come from your ducks? Could be Pekin or another breed of duck. Pic of your ducks would help. I have Muscovy and they are tanish to khaki in color.

A couple of weeks ago a duck laid about 8 eggs in my backyard. The mama duck sat on them and stayed with them up until two days ago when I woke up to find that 7 out of the 8 eggs were cracked open and cleaned out by something

but there is still one left that was not touched by whatever killed the others. The mother duck has not come back for the remaining egg. Is this egg still alive?
