I have a khaki campbell that has been sitting on her nest for about 24 days. I check on her once a day when I feed all the other ducks. she was sitting on them last night. She is now off the nest and all of her eggs have disappeared- no shells, no feathers...nothing. I have 4 Khaki Campbells that have been brooding on nests for the past 3 years- they always lay around 20 eggs and 10-12 of them hatch out and survive. they are not put up at night- they nest around the pond in one of our pastures. once the babies are born we remove mom and babies and keep them in duck pen up near the house until they are 2 1/2- 3 months old. we have never had anything like this happen. we have had some eggs disappear before, but never all of them....so sad. has anyone ever had this happen before?
