Duck eggs on the 24th day wiggling like crazy! Should I go into lockdown? *UPDATE* with pictures!

Hi everyone! Well this is the first batch of eggs I have ever tried to hatch on my own. I purchased 16 mixed breed duck eggs on June 4th. 3 of the eggs were infertile and one was a double yoker. So I ended up incubating 12 eggs. I'm on day 24 and the eggs are moving like crazy! They haven't pipped yet but I'm not sure if I should go ahead and lockdown now or wait? Any advice is welcome. The incubator has been at 99.5 degrees and the humidity has stayed around 55 the whole incubation process.

If you have "weeble wobbles" I would stop turning so they can get into position for hatch. That's what all the wiggling is about

It wont hurt them? They are only on day 24. Some aren't wiggling yet. I don't know what to do!

You are only 1 day early for lockdown. Your temps may have been running just a hair high so babies are getting ready a little early. You may have pips very soon

I have been candling them but I dont see any pips yet! So exciting!

I have three out of twelve internally pipped!

So excited for the rest to pip! Can't wait for them to hatch! I will keep everyone updated with photos when they start to pop out!

ive had the same thing with my ducks pippped a couple of hours after putting them on lock down day 25 and and hatched the next day !

i might need to drop the temp slightly as some one said ! good luck anyway

They aren't rolling around anymore. I don't know if I should leave them be or turn them one last time?

I'm so stressed out! I just want these little guys to come out healthy!

if they have been rocking around i would just lock them down one day cant hurt as there be moving around them selves to get ready for pipping ...

Sounds like they are either resting from turning or are already in position ready to pip...either way I would lock them down so I didn't ruin all the work they have done maneuvering into position.
