Duck eggs on the 24th day wiggling like crazy! Should I go into lockdown? *UPDATE* with pictures!

So I woke up this morning to an external pip!

Only problem is that this little ducky wants to come out of the wrong end!

I don't know what to do! Should I wait and see how he make progress? Ugh these little eggs have stressed me to the maxxx the past couple days! Please help!

I have a chick doing exactly that right now too. I have just been keeping an eye on it in case it starts to look weak so I can help chip shell away if needed.

Just remember, ducks like to take their time. They could take a full 48 hrs from pip to fully hatched.

They still aren't making any noises. Watching them closely though!

Can't keep my eyes off the viewing port in my incubator!

But the temperature in my incubator keeps going up to 102 degrees. Will that harm them? I just want my little duckies to be healthy!

Once you see those little beaks the wait gets UNBEARABLE!!!! Darn things STILL take their time & can be another 24-48 hrs. Just don't get impatient & try to help too soon or you will kill it (voice of experience

yes they do take a long time from pip to hatch mine took 48 hours and it was very stressful not to help but its best if u dont they are all doing great now. so its worth the wait!
