Duck eggs pipped but no progress in 40 hours

Oh I'm so sorry about that last one, it's so sad when that happens. But 3 out of 4 is (from what I've heard) an extremely successful hatch for ducks. Do you have names picked out for your 3 new additions to your family?
??

Did I miss something? Did the last one not make it?

I believe the no bleeding is also confirmation that it was OK to take them out when you did.

Those pics are so cool! Wonderful!

Curious...are those pekings?

Lately the pekings I have, have been growing on me.
Thank you! And yes they are pekings! 😍

That's really neat.

I really like pekings! The white feathers are so nice.
2 ducklings are still very weak, led on their sides 😔 can only lift their heads and put back down although chirping. I don't know what I can do for them. One of them is walking around fine but the other ones cant stand at all. If I knew being a duck mum was this terrifying I wouldn't of entertained it. I don't want any to die 😔

Well, you could probably assist them with their water drinking a bit to get them on their feed. And be aggressive about helping them eat the first day or two, and maybe check on them often.

I'm anxious with hope for your successes.

Others have posted here in the past that sometimes the ones that are smaller or weaker had pulled out of it and caught up to the others in the future, so there's always hope.

I took them out of the incubator as it was small and placed them in the brooder with a heat lamp. Seems to have done the trick. 🤞 They are all fully dry and fluffy and are now attempting to walk around. I popped to my farm shop this morning but he didn't have any supplement to help ducklings but suggested food and water to keep energy up. My weakest and smallest that could barely lift its head is now managing to move around a bit by dragging itself and the other one is now on its feet moving! I already have a million fluffy pictures 🙈 have set them in the living room where I can keep a close eye.

When I hatched ducks and chicks at the same time. I noticed that the ducks took longer to get up and moving. It sounds like they are getting stronger. Hatching is hard work.

I agree, all are up and moving, cheeping, and eating/drink by themselves. It was a worry though! Being a duck mum is not for the faint hearted 😂
