This is my first time incubating duck eggs. They are from a mixed flock and I also have one goose egg in there that was a surprise, do I don't know what breed. I had 23 to start, I took 1 out on day 5 for no development, I took 3 out on day 7 because of blood rings, and I just candled on day 11 and have two quitters. Am I doing something wrong or is it normal to have lose so many? I am using one of those janoel 48 incubators. It has been holding temp at 99, I have two different thermometers in there, and two hydro meters that say the humidity is between 50-60%.

No one? I'm on day 22 now and some eggs I see no movement in. Could it be due to the eggs being dirty? They were so incredibly dirty I had to wipe them gently with warm water before putting them in the incubator. I would appreciate some help as to what I have done wrong
