duck eggs.... selling?

I ask 5$ a dozen for mine as well. I really have made no real efforts to sell them as of yet, they get sold to my husbands co-workers and my mothers lol I have more eggs than I know what to do with though so i need to make effort to get a sign up.

What do you guys do for the dogs? I need to do this.
I have a steamer and I use it to cook up my duck and chicken eggs then i just peel them and give them to the dogs for a snack, sometimes I mix in their food but mostly just give them to them shelled. They love them. I also will crush them up shell and all and mix them in some peas and feed them to the ducks and chickens.

Oh my gosh. We LOVE our duck eggs. We find them tastier than chicken eggs. I made brownies with them- moistest brownies I have ever baked. We ate them fried, scrambled and hardboiled. My kids them them. What is likely to happen is we will eat the duck eggs (quite simply- we prefer them) and sell off our chicken eggs. If we have too many duck eggs and we cannot eat them ourselves I might try to sell them off but I don't think I am even going to try- we selfishly like them too much. $5 is a good place to start. If you have people snapping them up- you might consider raising the price. Consider selling them by the half dozen too.

In NeWash state I have heard they sell for $5 for 1/2 dozen at the farmers markets. We have never had enough at a time to sell, our family (kids and grandkids) are very willing to eat any extras. We really love them, although I don't really taste too much difference, but they are the greatest to bake with. I occasionally feed them to my dogs, I just scramble them and they really love them.

Thanks everyone!
Your advice has been so helpful!

(been to busy to respond to everyone, went to a swap and gained a few new babies :-))
