What causes a duckling to be hatched with scoliosis?

I'm not sure.

There is a video of kurly. I am thinking that he does have more of a scoliosis. Not really improving. I did try massaging it when he first hatched. I don’t think you can massage this out though. I’ve given them nutridrench.

Aw, poor baby! I think if I were you, I would just try to give him the best life possible. They are so adorable! Are all of the others doing good? I do think it's some version of scoliosis too. I'm sorry your little baby has it. Be sure to post updates as he grows, I was just thinking about him earlier. The update was a nice surprise. He does look like he's getting around pretty decently at least.

I agree, he does seem to be getting around ok though. I’d still try massaging anyway, as their bones are still somewhat pliable for now. They are all gorgeous though. I love the distinct spots. It’s amazing how those change though.

I hatched 3 of my Calls over the weekend. A few died before pipping, but that’s fairly common with Calls.

I will definitely keep you updated on how he progresses. He seems to get around okay for now. The others are doing great! Growing so much every day. I’m eager to find out the sex of all of them. Any suggestions on treats for them? Like meal worms? Planning on taking them outside this weekend.
