Duck eggs tasting fishy?

Hey all! Recently I've noticed my Pekin duck, Raspberry, has been laying eggs that taste pretty 'fishy'.

My ducks do get a seafood medley mix from tractor supply as an occasional treat. It's got little shrimps in it. Does this pass over into the egg? Or is this caused by something else?

Just wanted to check and see if that's causing it so I can switch to another treat.

Anything involving seafood or fish in general can cause the eggs to get a fishy flavor. This also includes aquatic greens like seaweed, algae, anything green/plant growing out of pond water etc. If she's eating shrimp then it most definitely could cause the eggs to have a fishy flavor.

Okay, thanks for the info!! Looks like I'll be seeking out a new treat for the gang. They get greens & peas as well but love the shrimps from that mix. It's ashame it makes the eggs taste like that!
