Hi, I’m new here and new to raising ducks. The other day we went to collect the eggs from the nest, there were 20 total. After collecting, we noticed that Quackers, one of the females starting making odd noises we never heard before and quacking, looking around the nest. The other female doesn’t do this so I was just curious if ducks do get upset when their eggs are taken?

Also, one other question. What do you feed ducks in the winter as a substitute to greens? We’ve tried pumpkin and squash but they don’t seem to be interested.

We go and buy different greens from our local grocery store, maybe this will help you also till spring? :)
