Hi y’all. Hoping someone can tel me whAt in the world is going on with my duck eggs. I’m pretty disgusted. They have this growth/mass in them. And some have this grey small blob. I’ve never seen this before. And it’s not an old egg every egg this week has looked like this. I don’t have any males. It’s just the girls. So it’s not fertilized!

Everything I’m reading says lash eggs are on their own. Not within a healthy egg. And she’s laid at least 5 that I opened with this gross mass inside. I am so perplexed!

Did you cut any of them open for further inspection?
Usually they are outside an egg, but inside an egg is not unprecedented.
It may have formed on the ovary and got released with those two yolks...
...or got included somewhere downstream.

I'd like @casportpony to look at this. I've had goober things like this in my eggs before which is why I always candle eggs before selling them. At first I was thinking it was just a glitch in the egg factory but the part that doesn't sound good is that she's had a lot of these eggs just this week. Like @aart said, open it up and lets get a close up of the layers of it.
