Duck eggs with growth inside! (Not a baby)

The solid thing One of my Runners had in one of her eggs. I sliced it open and it was solid all the way through. I haven't seen one since. I deleted the pic on my phone or I would share.

Hi y’all. Hoping someone can tel me whAt in the world is going on with my duck eggs. I’m pretty disgusted. They have this growth/mass in them. And some have this grey small blob. I’ve never seen this before. And it’s not an old egg every egg this week has looked like this. I don’t have any males. It’s just the girls. So it’s not fertilized!

do you know which duck is laying them?

That's nothing to worry about. It's a shell from another egg that was going to form. Lots of glitches happen the first year.
