Duck eggs

my ducks are about 22 weeks at the moment and I still haven't seen any eggs, I've looked all over the garden. Am I being inpatient or should I have some by now

Mine came into lay in the middle of November, I have 2 Drakes with mine so they sort of helped, she was 26 weeks at the time of first lay

Depends on the breed of ducks. Some breeds lay earlier, at about 5 months of age. Some breeds can take 8 months or longer to start laying. You just need to be patient.

I have a khaki Campbell and a runner cross, I think it's crossed with a Cayuga as it has the green tint on the end of her wings. I also have a drake Campbell which I bought being told it was female, so deciding whether to get more ducks or rehome him.

Location and breed play a big part in egg laying not having Drakes...

My Campbells started laying at about 24 weeks of age. My Cayugas didn't start laying till they were well over 6 months of age.

Mine is a Khaki and I'm located in the UK so we are in the winter now, with only 8 hours of light as well, she has laid every morning before 6:30am which is what time I let them out.

Get more females if you get 3 more females that will be a good ratio for your drake. And give you female you have now a family.
