A week ago I noticed I had a duck nest in my backyard next to my pool. The mom was doing good and I thought it was so cool. A few days later I went outside and there were egg yolks all over. The mom was gone and out of 10 eggs 6 were remaining. I was guessing the best got attacked. Now I have 6 eggs and I’m pretty sure 4 of the are alive but the are some different colored spots on two off the eggs and I’m not sure what they are. The only type off eggs I have hatched were bearded dragon eggs so I have never hatched duck eggs before. Right now I have them in a box with a heating pad but I am getting an incubator soon. Can someone please help me thank you.

WELCOME! :ya

They look dead. That’s what happens in my dead duck eggs. A box with a heating pad is not a good enough incubator. Especially not without a solid temp. & humidity range. :D Good luck! :wee
