Is it possible to candle them? I have noticed my duck eggs are incredibly thick shelled.

I can candle mine just fine.

I can see through some of the white duck eggs better than the brown chicken eggs.

Yup--you can candle. Duck eggs is all I ever did until this last batch, and I was amazed at how easy it is to see inside a thin-shelled white chicken egg! lol But duck eggs are fine. Just use a bright light in a very very dark room.
