Duck eggs

I keep my ducks and chickens together, how different are duck eggs compared to chicken eggs? Are they easy to tella part?

I think it is fairly easy to tell the difference, my chickens lay brown eggs and the ducks lay white, or green eggs. More important is a waxy shell almost as though they have colored it with crayons. Depending on the breed of duck they will be bigger than the chicken's eggs.
