Duck Eggs

I have a question about duck eggs
I know they are great to bake with and eat but has anyone used them for a facial? I've used the chicken egg whites as a facial but never tried the duck eggs yet...
just would love some feedback on that
thanks

So I need to know.... I have 6 Pekins(1 yr olds) 1 Pekin(2 yrs old) and 1 Pekin(7 months old), 1 Black Indian Runner( 7 months), 1 blue Swedish(1 yr) and 1 Magpie(1 yr), and a Rouen( 3 yrs old, sat eggs great for previous owner) for hens. I have 5 Drakes( 2 Tan Indian Runner/Scottish Crested mix, 1 purebred registered Magpie, 1 Scottish Crested, and 1 Peking) to my 12 hens. The other girls I picked up two months ago, and I raised the 7 months old girls. The 6 Pekings were laying this summer, but so far no eggs from anyone. I have tried high nutrient feed, layer, electrolytes in water, etc etc. I spoil the heck out of them for water, and tote them out two huge dish fulls twice a day. They can both bathe and drink all day long. They have a large, fully insulated with a steel roof and giant picture window facing sunlight all day for their house. I line it ever few weeks with tons of shavings and straw. They bed it out nicely, and don't mess in their house unless the weather is below zero. We live in western WI, and it has been very cold, but actually warm for us, above 10 degrees and close to 29 most days, tons of sunshine for the past three weeks.

So to finally get to my question... does anyone think they will start to lay now the days are getting longer? Or is there something I can feed them that would help them along? They get green scraps from the kitchen occasionally(we don't eat iceberg, i'm talking beet tops and romain bits and spinach) but other than that are on a great gamebird feed mixt with a layer feed. I know they are getting enough calcium, just tired of hubby teasing me about the no laying eggs ducks. (I'm actually in no rush, sure they will start in spring/summer anyways) Oh, and the drakes are all SUPER good mannered(should be I raised 'em ha ha) and not pushy with the gals at all, or with each other. They all sleep on each other like swans with their necks on backs. In fact, they are all so lovey dovey it cracks my neighbors and local duck experts up. I've asked all my duck friends, and they say their ducks are off a little this time of year, but they are getting eggs. So here I am... any ideas anyone?

it takes time, mine are all starting to kick in but still far from full egg laying, im getting 4 out of 8 ducks per day. they will start laying this month i'm sure most do anyhow. u can add a light if u want

your skin just feels so smooth and the egg white tightens the skin. From what I've read there is collagen in the egg whites that helps replenish the skin....hey if it works that's fantastic but like I said it does feel great!

LOL Eggs going like gangbusters here! ha ha just had to post on BYC that they weren't laying and they had to go and prove me wrong!!! :D
