duck eggs

    I got a new duck (khaki Campbell) the other day. She laid an egg last night. I of course didn't think of how to store her eggs until now.Can i store them on the countertop like i can chicken eggs, or do they have to be in the fridge?

    Also, there is a possibility of these eggs to be fertile (she was kept with a male) is there a way to incubate the eggs without an actual incubator?

    Unless you have a broody hen, duck or something else feathered or an incubator I don't think you can make it same temps and humidity that would be needed to hatch any eggs. and yes duck eggs can be stored on the counter but I would no longer than 5-7 days.
