hi new to all this i have a hen laying on her 2 eggs 1 has gone dark blue and the others stay the same ive got about a week before they should hatch?do the eggs change color my males muscovys are black an white i love having my 13 chickens 2 male peking 1 male an 2 female indian runners and 2 female and 4 male muscovys can they also breed beetween breeds and i notice at sunset a lot of sex is going on in my backyard lol any help would be appreciated.. i live in Geraldton in Western Australia were our summer temp is about 35 and winter is about 20 degrees our other animals all love the new additions lol neighbours call us the ARK

I would watch that the drakes don't hurt the ducks (girls) - that can happen, it is not unusual to separate the boys from the girls to save the girls' lives or at least give them a rest. So be ready to do that.

Especially big old Muscovies on little runners.

Meanwhile, I would suggest you edit the title of the thread to talk about hatching eggs, since there are so many egg related questions and hatching is more of an urgent matter.

I am not a hatcher. But there is a sticky about hatching Muscovy eggs.
