Duck feed

Looking for help. What would be best to feed the ducklings after two weeks of age. I have them on Purina duck feed. Do I cut the protein with uncooked rolled oats. Or change their feed? I'm so stressed about it.

It's 19% protien. I've read in many articles to lower the protein to 15 % by three weeks of age?

No, many people feed 20% percent protein without any problems, no need to lower it, you may find this link helpful.

Okay. Thank you for the advice. As they get older I will give them veggies and some fruit. And they will have access to bugs outside. Plus the duck pellets.

Yeah I fed my chickens an abundant supply of mealworms because it was cold and they wound up with diarrhea.
