There back now

When looking first thing this morning and still no sign when to buy a kayak to go down the river and when we got back with it the ducks were back in the run eating food

Have 9 birds currently in my Coop 3 chickens and 6 ducks 1pekin 2 khaki cambel and 3 Saxony

My parter let the ducks out to free range around 12 so they could enjoy the rain and any worms they could find outside. When they went back to lock them up around 10 they only found are chickens roosting and no ducks.
It was raining heavy and we looked around the Coop and house and have found no sign of them.

We live our in nova Scotia in a semi rual area we have a wooded area behind our property with a stream running through that area. A few neighbors also have ducks and quail may try and see if our floock was just trying to make some new friends

Looking for any advice or help I can get thanks in advance

Since all six are gone, my GUESS would be that they have wandered off together. The wooded area, stream and other ducks all sound like they could be tempting. Maybe they will come back when it's light out and they want a meal served to them. Or, they hear your voice when you search for them.

I hope your ducks come home! Please keep us posted.

How many partners do you have? Maybe they didn’t communicate correctly between each other. My guess would be that you partners left the ducks outside and they (ducks) decided it’s exploration time. Ducks also like to sleep in the bushes, if you guys have bushy places around you house, the ducks could have simply gone to sleep there.
It’s not uncommon for ducks to sleep wherever they want and not come back inside.
