Duck Food!!

Hey! Thanks for clicking on my thread, I was wondering what are the best home nutritious foods and treats I can feed my ducks? They seem quite bored from the regulars I feed them and so I wanna change things up a bit.

All flock might work by Nature Wise but I am not sure. I might have a little duckling so I need some help too.

All flock is a perfect feed from hatch till end of life and never have to change. Wheat is another one that is good to add. then for treats Dried meal worms, Water melon is a big favorite. Shredded romaine lettuce is another toss into water they will love it. Here is a list of good and bad treats for our birds

I use a special type of All Flock by Nutrena called “Country Companion” that is sold at Coastal Farm and Ranch. It’s about $16-17 for a 50 lbs bag.

My girls love boiled potatoes and cooked macaroni. I used Flock Raiser by Purina till first egg and the Mazuri Waterfowl Maintenance.

For treats my ducks like peas, melon, berries, currants, dandelion leaves, grass...

They absolutely love a Flock Block! I bought another yesterday for my Flock. 1 lasts a good month for us.

The All Flock Bag suggests waiting to switch to it until 8 weeks. So I normally use Purina Flock Raiser (green bag) until 7-8 weeks.
