They are older now, but when they were younger they just peeped for their brother and sisters if I picked them up.Its siblings ended up passing away. The store I got them from hasn't gotten anymoreDo you have any other ducklings? He is probably scared and sees you as a threat. Ducks really need to have at least one other duck friend.
Mine bite my hand, but only because they think I have mealworms for them. They are older now, but when they were younger they just peeped for their brother and sisters if I picked them up.
Awe. That's sad. Sorry to hear that. Its siblings ended up passing away. The store I got them from hasn't gotten anymore

He shakes and if its a nip it hurts pretty good. He does every once in a while like what he does when he's preeningIs he biting or nibbling? I think little nibbles are duckling kisses. They snuggle with you, the momma figure, and nibble to straighten your feathers. My ducks have always liked to snuggle and eat treats from my hands but they do not like to be held much. I think being grabbed, especially from above, is too much like a predator and scares them. If you give him a few thawed, frozen peas he will love you!
He likes to do it on the inside of my elbow lol. They do like to inspect and investigate things with their beaks.
