Duck has bumblefoot and is panting.

I will see if I can post a video..I don't have time right now. Thanks for the list!

So...if he is not as int interested in food, but acts normal when wind is blowing on him...is it cuz of heat?
Yes. The heat will make them feel like eating less.

Keep soaking and using the clear iodine until you can gently pull the scab off then hopefully the bumble will come out with the scab if not you can get it out with sterile tweezers. Then you def want to put your antibiotic spray on it and keep it wrapped till the wound has healed over. It takes some work but can be taken care of.

Poor thing is probably hot seems Pekins get over heated easy anyway. Your doing a good job keeping him/her cool.

Hey guys!!!! Sorry I have not been on....my duck is doing great! Just a little scab still left, but the rest is gone. He and his flock mates have been in there run(finally) and are going in the garage at night cuz we are still working on the coop. Thanks for the help! Everyone who has commented...thanks!!!!

I do have a quick question(I have no idea if I have asked this already). The black scab is off, but his foot where the scab was looks filled with puss. Do I try to open the wound and take the puss out, or do I just let it heal?

You need roger that pus out I use sterile tweezers to pick it out, after you use some kind of antibiotic spray or ointment then wrap to keep it clean while it heals can you get a pic of what it looks like? I wrap mine in s towel lay them on their backs butt facing away or you maybe sorry.
