Duck has eye injury

My Pekin duck Mr. Waldo received a eye injury from a crain in my pond. His eye is bleeding .
It looks like the eye is still in socket, but i am not sure what to do.

I cleaned him up from all the blood and covered his eye. He won't die will he?

I would get some Vetericyn eye gel or Terramycin eye ointment from your feed store and apply it to the eye twice a day. I have even used plain neosporin ointment in an emergency, but it is more for skin wounds.
