Duck has hole on head ??? Help

Hello I am new to this
I have two teenage ducks and the yellow one (bubbles) has a pen size hole on one side of her head I check the other one (Bob) and he has zero holes. I'm not sure what it is but I am scared please let me know if you have seen this before thanks

@BigDuckMama I wish you could post a picture they do have ears on the side of their heads are you sure this isn't what your seeing.

I'm not sure I checked the other duck and it's not like this at all I will post a picture around 330 when I get back home.
