Flock Raiser is already 20% protein, no need for higher protein at this point, just higher Niacin...
I totally agree especially giving the protein content of the feed.Good points on the eggs and peanuts, and if the feed was lower % protein then they would be a good supplement... but seeing as the leg is already an issue, direct Niacin is a quicker and more efficient way to get the intake increased...
Ok understood. Thanks so much for the wisdom and input yall. I'll get on that right away and keep yall updated! Any suggestions on where to buy some niacin?
Any Vitamin shop or Walmart, Walgreens, etc in the Nutritional Vitamins/Supplements areas... just make sure it doesn't say 'Time released' or 'flush free'... Vitamin B complex works fine too... just check the amount of Niacin per tablet and add enough to ensure 100-150mg Niacin to be dissolved in each gallon of drinking water...
Ok great I'll do that. Thank you
No problem...that fixes her issue... please, post updates or any additional questions...
