i have been incubating a runner duck that is now on the 24th day of incubation and every day untill today i have been able to see it moving around but today there is no moveent at all, their are still blood vessels, but does thiss mean that it had died?

Not necessarily. It could be resting.
Don't give up-veins are a good sign! It may be prepping to hatch!

okay thank you i will leave it

At some point they start to run out of room for moving! Just like with human babies, moms-to-be will note a significant drop in movement when they are nearing the end because of space restrictions

ahh thank you good i was getting quite worried! if he still have the blood veins does this definatly mean its alive?

My rule is this: As long as there are veins, there is hope.
I NEVER throw out an egg with veins. Veins=alive to me.

al hang on and keep my fingers crossed then, thank you very much

Like they said it could just be resting up to move into the air cell getting ready to pip. Don't give up it still has two days two go and then I would wait at least two more. Good luck.

i candled the egg and it was defiantly dead, all the blood veins had dissapeared and the outline of the duckling inside had become distorted
