Duck Hatch Started on Mar 27, 2018

Checked all the eggs yesterday, had one that had to go, so down to 10 and all are moving and twitching with the light. Tomorrow is lock-down and I am getting their "new hatch-lings" quarters ready as our weather is very iffy, so they will be inside for at least a week.

This morning TWO ducklets have pipped, they should start zipping by tonight. Only 8 more to go.

This morning: 4 pips, 1 full hatch. Pic's and details later, I gotta get their little warm pen ready.

We now have 7 pipped eggs and 1 hatch. I think I may have one pipper that has died, the shell is becoming discolored, so if no progress tomorrow, it will be tossed. I expect to see 7 more duckies by tomorrow morning. Here is a pic of the first one to hatch, resting in his warm enclosure.

So today I have 5 little ducklings and 4 more to go. I expect they will all finish hatching by tomorrow evening. So cute! Pics tomorrow.
