Good morning, and welcome to BYC. Is part of the yolk unabsorbed or is only the umbilicus attached to the egg?

Hi thank you i think part the yolk unabsorbed and doesnt seem to going down hes chirpping and moving lots went to try pick most egg of around it and there veins inside the egg still and dont want to make it bleed jo x

Thank you for the reply should i dampen the kitchen towel that i line the cup with and sit him in upright? Then shall i put him under his heat plate as wont fit in incubator ? Jo x

Yes, you can dampen it, if you put it under the heat plate, keep an eye on it to make sure he's not too hot. If you see him panting you'll need to move him further away.

UPDATE egg has finally came off but still bit of bulge there which is sticking to everything hes trying to get on his feet but the bulge preventing him any ideas what can put on it to stop it sticking to the kitchen roll?? So he can get around hes drying off well ill take and post new picture when check him next my new incubator came today so we put him in there on his own as bigger not under the hot plate temp. Set 37 is that ok?? Cheers jo x

Whatever is available, and if there is none, I'd at at least apply Vaseline.
