Duck hatching help asap!

When we help our ducks out I use a warm washcloth thats a tad drippin to hold the baby in while I peel back the shell. I don't peel back the membrane only shell. In doing this I haven't lost any yet. If they've pipped then their noses are most likely not covered so they can breath.

The just keep an eye on them to make sure they are making progress. I've had them take an additional 8 to 9 hours after helping them to actually hatch. When I get to this point I also keep a wash cloth in the incy folded in half and very damp with warm water. If having to open the incy I have a clean warm cloth ready to put in, so when I reach in for the next egg I pull out the old cloth at the same time & sneak in the new one. Gotta be quick though.

That is so sweet, it's nice they have each other, when my duckling hatched her hatch mate died so she was all alone, but she has been living in the house with my dh, me and our 4 dogs so it now thinks it's a puppy. Looking forward to pics.
