Duck having seizures??

Back when I asked about my duckling I was told 1ml.

If it’s something toxic wouldn’t she already have died? Is it possible it’s a parasite? I haven’t dewormed her ever..

not necessarily, it depends what it is and how much is in her system... Think the difference in drinking one beer vs. 10, the amount in your system will impact how severely your body reacts

I'm thinking it's picking up toxic things like nails, staples etc. Hmm? Possibly water is toxic in that creek?

Try and get some activated charcoal in comes in capsules and use it according to the directions the flush link . They can recover from something toxic they may have eaten but you have to treat fast. Do you have old lumber or hardware that is laying around any construction work gone on at your place that is one way to pick up screws nails wire staples. in the stickies there is a link to heavy metal poisoning also. Is she eating okay?

I know I am not an expert and don't pretend to be but when I saw the first post the first thing I thought of was that's exactly what my Eva does when she's egg bound!

Yeah it’s possible she picked up something like that, we recently put in a duck door in the coop...I’ll see if I can get charcoal

She’s eating and drinking fine, acts completely normal before she does her “seizure” and then goes right back to normal...

Well she laid an egg this morning, so I would assume that’s not it? But I have no idea.
