Duck Help Needed Please and Thank You

To me, Muscovy ducklings just look like ducklings and I wouldn't be able to pick them out for the first couple of weeks.

But Runner ducklings should be very upright and lively. Muscovy ducks are close to horizontal in stance. So it should be extremely easy to tell which are which just by watching them move around.

Neither one of those is chocolate, so if you got runners, you didn't get chocolate runners. I think that is a rare color, so would have to be purchased from a specialist, not a hatchery.

You asked the same questions my other half did. lol. So here are the current answers. lol. I was told it was Myers, I contacted them, and was informed that they do not sell Muscovies anymore. They stopped selling them last year. What I was hoping to accomplish was finding out what they were that I got. Would it have made a difference? No. Would I have kept the ducklings anyways? Of course.
.....
So the bottom line is, it is what it is. Nothing much I can do about it accept wait for them to grow out and find someone on here who can identify them :) I love having different breeds of critters:) I just like knowing what everything is. I like to ready everything I can about the breed in question and prepare myself. This time, I will just sit back and wait!
Thank you for the update and for letting me know

Your yellow ones look like Muscovies to me. Their bills are different, tails longer and I can see a thick leg under one of them. So, you may have a trio of white Muscovies.

This is my 2 day old duckling from last year, if you look closely at the tip of his bill you can see the bean it actually has a point to it. sorry i wish i had a better pic. And they could very well be Muscovy, i was surprised at how many hatcheries sell them only whites.

No worries they ARE muscovy - I promise my friend has a ton of them and they lay and hatch eggs all the time. Those three lighter color yellow ones with the pink/white beaks ARE muscovies!

Thank you. I just double looked at my baby pictures of my 2 young adult muscovies and they did have the bean.

Like I said as long as they are healthy, I honestly don't ultimately care what they are. I am just a little OCD when it comes to my critters and researching them. :)
