If it makes you feel better, it's pretty unlikely she was dumped. Anatolians and Pyrs are famous for roaming. In their native environment, they guard huge flocks and cover hundreds of acres. I've had more than one end up at my place when I lived down south where everyone with 5 acres and 3 chickens gets one. Sometimes you can find the owner, sometimes you can't. One sweetie who fell madly in love with my goats I found a nice home on 150 acres with a big herd the 4th or 5th time she showed up - poor girls owner had given up trying to keep her home and didn't even get around to asking me about her for almost 3 months so I don't feel bad about it.
I think some of them just wander until they find the right farm.
