When cleaning out the duck house last weekend, i noticed a lot of tiny critters crawling on the bedding that i was removing and though "it's about time that i get this stuff out to the compost". Early on this week i noticed those small insects again on the untreated wood inside the house. Those insects(?) are less than a millimeter in size, barely visible to the naked eye, i can't take a picture of them with my phone and they stick to the wood. The ducks doesn't seem to be bothered by those and they are not on the ducks, i checked out Katharina and Blanca today (which they did not like!).
I bought a permethrin 10 solution from RK, but the booklet is missing, so i don't know how much of that stuff needs to be mixed with how much water for a solution to spray on the duck house itself. Anybody any idea what those critters are? They are very active even in frosty cold air, which mites wouldn't.
Thank you very much in advance!
