Duck hurt his private's

Wishing Spot a fast recovery, and sorry you had such a bad experience at the vets.
Hopefully you can find one with a little more empathy.
I remember in the 80's bringing in a box turtle (not common at most clinics). They did treat him, but acted like it was a joke- they mainly worked on dogs and cats.
I was furious with the attitude, and still am to this day.
Anyway, welcome home Spot! :love

Thank you 😊 he is so happy to be home and he gave me a big hug (he hide in my hair and nibbled my ear)

They only charged us €103 for 3 surgeries so it was a pretty good price
My mum was expecting way more
So whilst they were a pain in the back side they didn't charge us much
I think they where happy for the experience

I named him spot because his egg was spotted (it was luck that he had spots on his head too)

We put him back with his friends an he was thrilled
He was also very happy to be able to wash the vet off him, he sat in the pool preening for ages
(The 2 white call ducks are his brothers)
