I agree! I'm almost positive it either has Mallard or Rouen, because of it's feather patterning.

That's true, but Mallards and Rouens do start out with pretty dark feet too. It's parents could have been cross breeds too, I suppose.

Hi there.

I spoke to the vet again, gave him a chunk of my mind and got a refund. Still can't believe he took me for a sucker or tried.

Anyhow, i just took this picture of Donna the duck. I've noticed her head is turning greener by the day as well as her upper rear. Not to mention the blueish-green on her wings. She has a black and brown pattern on her bottom rear and tummy.

I figured you're right and she's a mix but she's still a cutie!

As you'll see in the picture her colors are becoming more vibrant but they are even more stunning in sunlight.

Ah yes, she sleeps on a blanket in the bathroom. I'm too scared she gets eaten by a stray hyena or gutter cat or that she'll fly away - wings aren't ready to be clipped just yet.
