I've got some questions about incubating domestic duck eggs.. My duck eggs arrived in the mail today and will set to settle until 12:00 noon tomorrow..

I have a Gqf style incubator with auto turner set dead on 100 deg..

I've heard to lay them down and let the turner turn them from side to side instead of from big end to little end..

Do I do this, or just set them like chicken eggs stood up in the egg trays??

You can do either everyone has their own preference. But if you lay them on their side make sure to turn them 180* once a day to get in that whole turn.
100* is fine some people prefer to to have their humidity at 45-50% during incubation and others do the dry hatch. I have done the dry hatch with chicks but my ducks I kept them with more moisture. I had large air cells and some detached due to shipping.

So if your eggs were shipped I would suggest to not turn on the turner for the first few days to let the air cells settle in.
