Duck Infection?

Hi! I recently began my journey to raising backyard ducks and chickens. Everything has been great, the chickens and ducks are all about 12 weeks old now. Today when I went to let them out to free range, I noticed my duck has some kind of infection or wound by her beak. It was not there yesterday (I let them out everyday) but it looks pretty bad. Does anyone have any idea what this is and how I can treat it? Thank you!

I wonder if the chickens are doing this. They are known to peck and cause wounds and if they draw blood that can really get them carried away and may really cause damage. I'd rinse this area real good with some salty warm water then use an antibiotic ointment or Veterycin spray for wounds and infection Or to stop any pecking if this is from the chickens Blue Kote since it will turn her skin and feathers purple and hide any wound. Also helps heal.
