I would do another very careful, slow and thorough inspection all over her body. Maybe there is a tiny wound somewhere that has gotten infected..... If you truly can find no wound... well.... I dunno.... Usually healing is pretty quick, so after a week bruising should be down enough that there is clear improvement... Has there been any inprovement?
