Getting better slowly. I have been preoccupied with a very weak and injured baby chick (like, completely preoccupied - it's been coming with me to work - haha), so I haven't been as attentive to the duckies as I should be.

Good luck with the baby chick. I know all about bringing baby birds (of all kinds) to work. For many years I volunteered for the local wildlife rehabilitation group and, believe it or not, people also brought me baby chickens Glad to hear Marmalade is doing better. <3

Thanks for giving me the link and I did see this just for some reason didn’t put the 2 together. I sure hope the injection works and gets her up and walking and doing duck things. She sure has come a long way. Bless your heart for caring for her

You are doing so well with this little girl, Starling5767. Its is lovely to see the progress you have made and that she can now interact outside with Maxine! I just read up about covenia and it should continue to work for up to 14 days.

Hows your duckie doing? Any updates?

She's doing great !! She has a follow up vet appointment at 1 pm today. The swelling is down but still obvious so I'm assuming she will get another antibiotic injection today. Other than that she's swimming everyday now and is now fully waterproof !!
