Duck is top heavy in the water

Good luck with your bumblefoot. I tried the oyster shells. They didn't touch it when it was in a separate bowl and when I mixed a little in with their food, they ate around it. Literally, when I took their bowl out in the morning it was licked clean - except for the pile of oyster shells  I'm going to assume they are okay since their eggs are rock hard. I'm telling you, this duck mama thing is hard. But I love them so much :love

Well you know your there so just keep on with what your doing my flock of birds chickens and ducks eat a lot of oyster shell along with their layer but I mix it 50/50 since I have gander, drakes and roosters. So I guess their eating the OY shell is making up for it.

They can sure worry us it's like having children mine are my kids, sounds like yours are too. :)

Yes, they are. I mean seriously, their bedding is polar fleece blankets because I just can't imagine forcing them to sleep on hay or wood chips! And yes, I wash them every single day, but twice now that I'm keeping them penned. I go in there with dinner, change out their blanket and put down their food. My husband thinks I'm nuts.
