Duck is top heavy in the water

I'll be honest. I looked and could not find her oil gland in all the feathers. There definitely was no hot looking skin or yellow ooze which I took for a good sign. I'll try again tonight. I don't like chasing her around if I don't have to since her leg is gimpy (but definitely getting better).

I bought the Fish/Flax/Borrage. It only came in a gel cap. Any advice? I thought I'd melt it in hot water and put it on the food.

This is what her gland looks like. My fingers were definitely oily when I pulled them away.

When my Muscovy's have had wet feather they usually have to molt before their feathers go back to normal. I'd give her some extra Protein it can be meal worms, good quality dog/cat kibble protein is important for good quality feathers .

Every night, she gets one scoop of layer feed, 1/2 scoop of meal worms, 1/4 teaspoon of Rooster Booster Vitamins and Electrolytes with Lactobacillus, and I'll start giving her one capsule of the oil as well. Normally, she free ranges, but due to Webby's bumblefoot and her gimpy leg, I'm keeping them penned up for the next week or so with daily 1/2 hour warm bath/Epsom salt swims. Their pen is about 4 x 10 so enough room for the two of them.

I have calcium too, but I'm hesitant to give it to them since they are on the layer formula. I've read too much calcium is bad. They both lay about one egg/day with an off day here and there.

Sounds like a good feed plan. Mine ate good and got vitamins too but still would get wet feather just 2 sisters. Soon as they would molt and get their new feathers in they would be good as new. Hopefully with your TLC Webby's foot and leg will be healed up.
I have been treating a chicken hen for bumble just got the bumble out yesterday wrapped and will check it out again tomorrow. Good luck with yours.
